The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences is dedicated to delivering the highest quality arts, humanities and social science education. Our faculty members are committed to providing students with a positive, respectful and rewarding learning experience that encourages broad understanding of different communities, societies, cultures, literatures, languages and ways of knowing.

Our goal is to encourage students to develop strong critical thinking, analytical reasoning, problem solving and communication skills and creative talents that will foster their development as knowledgeable, engaged and confident citizens and leaders.

• To develop skilled human resource in the field of art, crafts &professional designing.
• To develop professionals for mass communication with emphasis on development and rural communication.
• Development and promotion of new communication methods, techniques and multi media materials for rural areas.
• Imparting training in the field of art & crafts
• Promoting art & crafts as a tool of rural livelihood.
• Preservation and promotion of rural, tribal and regional art, crafts and designs.
• 'Awareness and training programmers' for empowerment of rural masses.
• Protect and promote traditional wisdom and cultural values.
• Teachers education, training for rural and tribal schools.
